Stalowa Wola is a city located in southeastern Poland, in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship. It has a population of approximately 64,000 people and covers an area of 82 square kilometers. The city was founded in 1938 as a planned community around an iron and steel plant, which still operates today as one of the largest employers in the region. Stalowa Wola is also home to a large chemical industry sector and is an important transportation hub, with roads and railways connecting it to major cities throughout Poland and Europe.
